Today, the company successfully operates Wrigley Oral Healthcare Programmes (WOHP) in 47 countries around the world. The programme is designed to support dental professionals by providing them with the information and practical resources to promote a healthy oral care routine among their patients. This is achieved through:

  • Supporting independent clinical research into preventative dentistry
  • Supporting key global dental associations - eg. sponsoring conferences and continual education programmes
  • Encouraging dental professionals to communicate key messages to patients about better oral healthcare through informational brochures/leaflets
  • Helping patients through leaflets and posters to understand how to look after their healthy smile
  • Working locally with schools and kids be providing educational materials for teachers, parents and kids
  • Dental schools programme - supporting both lecturers and students with research studies, educational brochures and digital media relating to saliva and the benefits of chewing sugarfree gum
