Lips - Fleshy parts forming the edges of the mouth opening.

Gums - Firm flesh around the roots of the teeth.

Palate - Structure forming the upper part of the mouth cavity (opening).

Uvula - The uvula is the piece of flesh that hangs down from the rear portion of the soft palate.

Salivary Gland - Used to produce saliva (colourless liquid in the mouth) to assist in chewing, digestion and speech.

Tongue - Fleshy, muscular organ in the mouth used for tasting, licking, swallowing and speech.
